Meet Kody Daffer

Kody Daffer is a husband, father, and proud Nampa homeowner who understands firsthand the challenges local families face. After marrying his wife, Kylie, in 2021, the couple bought their first townhome and welcomed their son, right here in Nampa. Like many young families, they quickly learned how competitive the local housing market has become, finding themselves outbid multiple times by cash buyers before finally securing a home; one that didn’t quite have the yard they’d hoped for, but reflected their commitment to building a life in this community.

These personal experiences have given Kody a deep appreciation for issues like housing affordability, guided growth, and community safety. He believes that the everyday families who make Nampa special deserve a real voice in the decisions shaping its future. That belief inspired him to run for City Council; to ensure that local government is transparent, responsive, and truly representative of the people who call Nampa home.

Why Kody?

Kody brings both personal experience and professional expertise to the table. He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development and has built a successful career in Nampa’s real estate and land development industries; giving him a clear understanding of how growth impacts infrastructure, housing costs, and city planning.

As a member of the Nampa Planning & Zoning Commission, Kody has seen that most community frustrations don’t come from residents opposing growth, but rather from confusion and lack of clear communication about how and why decisions are made. He’s passionate about improving that transparency and making local government more accessible to residents.

With a focus on honesty, guided growth, and family-centered policies, Kody Daffer is ready to represent Nampa’s working families with integrity. He’s committed to guiding the city's growth responsibly; preserving the values that make it home while building a stronger, safer, and more connected future for every generation.
